Bangladesh vs Nepal; The Bangladesh Football Federation proposed to hold two friendly matches against the Nepal National Team during the FIFA window of November 11th to 19th. The National Sports Commission (NSC) approved the proposal of the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) to go-ahead with the resumption of football training in a friendly match with the Bengali Tigers.
Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, football matches and training have stopped. The Nepal National team players were originally scheduled to start a closed training camp on August 17, 2020. After the FIFA 2022, World Cup, and 2023 Asian Cup qualifiers were postponed, the training camp was canceled.
Nepal and Bangladesh’s last match was on SAFF Championship 2018 which was held in Dhaka. Nepal defeated host Bangladesh 2-0 and broke their heart of reaching the semifinals.
According to FIFA’s international competition schedule, any day between November 11 and 19 will be a friendly match against Bangladesh. Nepal will now propose to Bangladesh and based on this, it will decide which day to play the friendly matches.
