Barcelona coach thinks Coutinho’s promising talent is not over yet

Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman reminded the public how talented Philippe Coutinho was when he was wearing Liverpool’s jersey. Together with the Red team, Coutinho’s performance was indeed extraordinary and full of hope.

The quality of the ball, the speed, and accuracy of the dribbling, shooting are all attributes of Coutinho. Coutinho’s contribution during Liverpool was 54 goals and 45 assists in 201 games. But, in fact, Coutinho’s performance dropped sharply when he joined Barcelona in the summer of 2018/2019.

Nevertheless, Koeman still firmly believes that Coutinho’s potential is endless. The Dutch coach is very optimistic and believes that Brazilian players can perform well against Barcelona in the 2020/2021 season.

Koman told Marca: “Lionel Messi, Antoine Griezmann and Philip Coutinho, all three can play any position in the attack plan.” “Coutinho really worked hard, he seemed confident and he has done a good job so far. Everyone should remember his talents,”  he concluded.
