Thirty-six players and staffs of a single club name Armed Police Force (APF) from Nepal tested positive for COVID 19. APF players returning from the border area with India have contracted corona.
According to an APF source, 36 personel, including 29 players and 7 staff members deployed in border security with India, were tested positive. All the infected players were working at Sarlahi, Siraha, Parsa and Bara Border in Nepal.
The department had sent 80 personels to the border to protect the lockdown period and those included coaches, players, football referees, cricket and karate.
APF sources informed that they will be in quarantine based on their health. The names of players who are secret. 20 are in the quarantine of Dahchok and 16 in the quarantine of Kirtipur.
