The Portugal forward, who is 37 years old, recently signed with a club on a contract that expires in 2025. According to reports, he earns an annual salary of over £177m. In his debut game, he played the entire match and led the team in which a Brazilian midfielder scored the winning goal. The team, Al Nassr, currently holds the top spot in the Saudi league, with a one-point lead over the second-ranked team, Al Hilal.

Ronaldo, a seasoned professional with a storied career at top clubs including Manchester United, Juventus, and Real Madrid, was warmly welcomed by his enthusiastic supporters at the King Saud University Stadium in Riyadh. Fans unfurled banners and erupted in applause as the Portuguese striker made his debut for his new team.

Al Nassr fans have been waiting to see Cristiano Ronaldo. Learning that Ettifaq would be his first opponent, tickets for the match sold out in three hours.

Cristiano Ronaldo was not able to open his goal account. The only goal scored in this match came from Talisca’s header at 31′.
