FIFA World Cup Qualifiers: Players to stay in Quarantine

The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has informed that the corona test of the players will be held only after five days after entering the valley.

ANFA has called 34 members preliminary squad a week ago. Despite the corona epidemic, ANFA is about to start training for the national team. After getting permission from the government to train in international sports from next month.

ANFA has said that the corona of the player will be tested from Patan Hospital. In partnership with the hospital where ANFA is preparing to collect the players at the ANFA hostel. Players will stay in ANFA Satdobato, Lalitpur.

Head coach Yohan Kalin has left out Bimal Gharti Magar, Dinesh Rajbanshi, Santosh Tamang from the 34 members of the preliminary squad.

World Cup Qualifiers 2022 Remaining Matches of Nepal

Nepal has three remaining matches in the qualifiers. Nepal is playing against Chinese Taipei, Asian Power House Australia five days later. After a month Nepal will play against Jordan. All the matches of the qualifiers will be in Dasarath Stadium.

Nepal in Group B has 3 points from 5 games. Nepal is in the fourth position of the group after a single win against Chinese Taipei.
