Indian Football Team Arrived in Qatar for World Cup 2022 Qualifiers

Blue Tigers land safely in Doha

The Indian national team arrived safely at the Hamad International Airport in Doha last night (May 19, 2021) to participate in the three matches that India will play in the Qatar 2022 World Cup and AFC China 2023 qualifiers. The matches will be Started on June 3rd.

India, who have 3 points in 5 games in Group E, is scheduled to play against Qatar on June 3, Bangladesh on June 7 and Afghanistan on June 15. All three games will be held in Doha, Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium.

Taking into account the situation of the COVID pandemic, this round of matches will be held in Doha, which does not allow the original format of home and away game.

India’s fixtures:

2021, June 3: India vs Qatar (IST 10.30 pm).
June 7: Bangladesh vs India (IST 7.30 pm).
June 15: India vs Afghanistan (IST 7.30 pm).
