Bangladesh is hosting 2 friendlies against Nepal in Dhaka at the Bangabandhu National Stadium. These two teams last met at the same stadium in the 2018 SAFF Championship where Nepal defeated Bangladesh 2-0.

The two international friendly matches between Nepal and Bangladesh will be the perfect tonic for the national team to resume football activities after seven months due to the coronavirus pandemic. These friendly matches will be the first international match for both the team in the year 2020.

Nepal and Bangladesh u23 recently played each other in the 2019 South Asian Games in Kathmandu. Nepal defeated Bangladesh 1-0 in that particular match which was played at the Dasarath Stadium.
