Nepal’s senior men’s football team will be playing Kuwait in their FIFA World Cup and Asian Cup joint qualifier’s home fixture at the Changlimithang Stadium in Thimpu, Bhutan. The match will be played at 2:45 PM NST. Nepal moved to Thimphu after AFC rejected ANFA’s proposal to play the match at under-construction Dasharath stadium. Stadium is still under construction
Nepal will be playing without four main players Bimal Gharti Magar, Anjan Bista, Santosh Tamang, and Dinesh Rajbanshi who were dropped from their Night Club Issue. Nepal had lost the first fixture 7-0 against Kuwait. Kuwait is second in ‘Group B’ with seven points Nepal have 3 points and are in 4th place.
