Nepal vs Kuwait Squad Announced for Nepal: World Cup Qualifiers 2022

Nepal is taking on Kuwait National team in their first home match of on going World Cup Qualifiers 2022 and Asian Cup Qualifiers 2023. Earlier, Nepal was defeated by a heavy goal difference of 7-0 in the away game with Kuwait. Nepal defeated Chinese Taipei 2-0 in the second match with two goals from Anjan Bista. In the third match, Asian Power House Australia defeated Nepal 5-0 and again lost to Jordan 3-0 in the last away game.

Bharat Khawas who was not in the team from the very first of the qualification matches is now included by coach Johan Kalin. Important mid filders Heman Gurung and Bishal Rai are not in the team.

The home match for Nepal will be played at neutral venue in Thimpu, Bhutan on 19th of November 2019. Nepal, have played all the away games in the selection, and have 3 points in four games. Nepal is ranked fourth in Group B. Australia are leading the table with all four wins.
