Johan Kalin born 1978 is a Swedish football manager and currently the head coach of the Nepal national football team. After having coached several teams in Sweden. Kalin is a certified coach with UEFA and other football governing bodies.
In 2019, All Nepal Football Association signed Kalin to be the new head coach of Nepal’s national football team for two years. His first match was a friendly against Kuwait, which ended in a 0–0 draw.
His first win for the team came against Chinese Taipei in World Cup Qualifiers 2022 and match was ended with 2-0.
Under his coaching, Nepal has played several friendlies and World Cup Qualifiers matches. Kalin is stressing on the need for players’ fitness.

Swedish coach dropped out Biraj Maharjan who was captaining Nepal since November 2016. In recent time, he also excluded Bimal Gharti Magar, Dinesh Rajbanshi and Santosh Tamang from the National Team ahead of the remaining matches of World Cup Qualifiers 2022.
