Real Madrid vs Chelsea 2-0 Hіghlіghts & All Goals – First Leg
In the first leg of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final tie, Real Madrid emerged victorious with a 2-0 win over Chelsea. The defending champions are now one step closer to retaining their title. Despite an early threat from João Félix, Madrid took control of the game and Vinícius Júnior was a constant nuisance for the Chelsea defense. His shot, which Kepa Arrizabalaga could only parry, led to Karim Benzema’s easy tap-in for Madrid’s first goal.
Although Chelsea had a chance to equalize through Raheem Sterling, Thibaut Courtois made a fine save to deny him. Madrid continued to dominate and came close to scoring a second goal when Thiago Silva cleared the ball off the line.
In the second half, Luka Modrić missed a chance to extend Madrid’s lead before Ben Chilwell was sent off for a challenge on Rodrygo. Marco Asensio then made it 2-0 with a composed finish after another great run by Vinícius. Chelsea now face a tough task in the second leg at Stamford Bridge. They could have been further behind if Benzema had not missed a late chance, but Mason Mount did come close to scoring a consolation goal for Chelsea.
