Rohit Chand Thakuri, an important member of the Nepal national football team, is set to lose a friendly match against Bangladesh. Midfielder Chand will miss both the friendly matches against Bangladesh after sustaining an injury during training.
28-year-old Chand recently joined Nepal national team from Persija Jakarta after ANFA announced two friendlies with Bangladesh. Nepal and Bangladesh will return to football after seven months. Bangladesh will host 2 matches on November 13 and 17 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium, Dhaka.
Rohit Chand who arrived in Nepal a few days back after Indonesian Liga 1 2020 was postponed for next year. ANFA had called 34 players for the initial training. Later, ANFA removed the name of the players who were tested positive for Coronavirus.
