Cristiano Ronaldo scored four goals for Al-Nassr, including his 500th career league goal
Cristiano Ronaldo, who has won the Ballon d’Or award five times, joined Al Nassr in December and is reportedly earning a yearly salary of £177 million. Despite a slow start with his new team, where he only scored one goal from a penalty in his first three games, he broke out with a bang in a recent match against Al Wehda.
In the 21st minute, he scored his first and overall 500th league goal for the clubs with a powerful shot that went into the bottom corner.
He then added another goal before half-time (40th minute) by racing onto a well-placed through ball and calmly scoring.
In the 53rd minute, he completed his hat-trick with a penalty goal. He continued his scoring spree by celebrating a fourth goal just after the hour mark (61st minute).
Ronaldo’s impressive performance means he now has 503 league goals. Out of these, 103 were scored while he was playing for Manchester United in the Premier League. During his time with Real Madrid, he scored 311 goals in 292 La Liga games, and while playing for Juventus, he scored 81 goals in Serie A.
