Sujal Shrestha honored with 1 Lakh in Dhankuta

13th South Asian Games(SAG) gold wining member of football Sujal Shrethsa has been honored in Dhakuta.

Shrestha, who is also the captain of the Nepali football team in SAG, was honored in his home town with a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh during an event held in Dhankuta on Thursday. Chief Chintan Tamang of Dhankuta Municipality and Chief District Officer Dr. Krishna Bahadur Ghimire honored him.

Sujal Shrestha is the product of ANFA Academy. The 28-year-old is also a member of the national team. He debuted the national team in a friendly match with Bhutan in Pokhara. Sujal Shrestha is plying with Machindra Club which is also known as white lions in Martyr’s A Division League.
