How did you develop a passion for football?
In Nepal, we love sports. At the age of seven/eight, I started playing football. In my town Surkhet, I played football for my city. Then I joined ANFA academy in the capital of Nepal and fell in love with this beautiful game.
Are you happy to play for Persija?
Yes, I’m happy. I’m not upset or anything else. Persija Jakarta is a great team from the capital, and we have very crazy and huge supporters. I really like the atmosphere of Persija Jakarta.
Are you interested in naturalizing yourself to be an Indonesian citizen like some other foreign players?
No, I play for Nepal. It’s kind of difficult to make it happen. But I want to play in Indonesia. Persija Jakarta, Persib Bandung, Arema FC are big teams here and they have large numbers of supporters. So I like it here, and I hope to play longer in Indonesia.
Who is your inspiration in football?
I have become a football player because of my brother. I grew watching matches of Brazil national team. My idol is Paolo Maldini.
