Erling Haaland, the Manchester City forward, set yet another record in the match against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the City of Manchester Stadium.
Erling Haaland, the Manchester City forward, secured a hat-trick in their win over the Wolves. He scored his first goal of the match by heading in a cross from Kevin De Bruyne in the 40th minute, giving City the lead.
He then successfully converted a penalty kick early in the second half before completing his hat-trick in the 54th minute, bringing his Premier League goal tally for the season to 25.
After going through a dry spell of not scoring in three consecutive games, Erling Haaland, the Manchester City forward, returned to his scoring ways in the match against Tottenham Hotspur, where he found the back of the net in the 53rd minute.
He continued this form in the match against Wolverhampton Wanderers, scoring a hat-trick and taking his goal tally to 25, two more than the number of goals that earned Mo. Salah and Heung Min-Son had a share of the Golden Boot last season. This further solidifies his position as one of the most potent goal-scorers in the league.
Last season, the English Premier League Golden Boot was shared by Tottenham’s Son Heung-min and Liverpool’s Mo. Salah, both of whom scored 23 goals. Halland stood out as he broke the goal tally record after playing just 19 games in the league, and many expect him to continue scoring more in the future.
Record: Haaland has now scored more Premier League hat-tricks than Cristiano Ronaldo (3) and as many as Mohamed Salah (4).
