“Erling is so concerned with goals,” De Bruyne said. He already has roughly 200 goals, so if he remains fit and does what he does, he can definitely go to 600, 700, or 800. Erling is a world-class striker. I don’t think Erling is that different from most folks. He’s just a regular football player who doesn’t take himself too seriously.

City’s season will be influenced by Haaland’s fitness, with the club’s medical team keeping a tight check on his workload. Pep Guardiola took him off early in both the friendly triumph over Girona and the Carabao Cup victory over Liverpool.
“Everyone has that small edge when it comes to elite players or athletics. If you don’t have that little something to make you the best version of yourself, I don’t think you can become a professional player. He is still a young boy having fun and is very passionate about his football. The most distinctive quality he has, in my opinion, is his love of scoring goals. ” De Bruyne added.
