Rohit Chand became the youngest Nepalese player in the country’s history when he debut in the national team at the age of 16 years and 22 days (finally broken in 2012). The record was broken by striker Bimal Garti Magar.
At young age, several European clubs were interested in asking his hand. He also gave trail cum training with Danish Club FCV Vikings in 2013. Chand joined Indonesian club PSPS Pekanbaru in 2012 before joining Persija Jakarta following year.
